Like any other Hard Rock Cafe across the globe, Penang Hard Rock Cafe also serves the authentic American's cuisine such as steak, grilled  platter, burger and fajita.
The legendary pop king - MJ in white
Stands in the premise of the luxury Hard Rock Hotel in Batu Feringghi, the statue of pop king - Michael Jackson sits at its facade to greets you!
Elvis Presley and music memorabilia collection
A lucky draw voucher brought us there on a fine weekend in May. We arrived early before noon, and the whole cafe only hosted a table.  Our was the table #2. Great news for us, the starving folks. Their legendary burgers were on special promotion but they were not of my fancy.
Set lunch appetizer - mushroom soup and toasted bread
One of the set lunch entrees - Chicken Pasta
The local flavor - Grilled fish and rice
Though I would love to have either a Jumbo Combo or a Hard Rock Nachos as starter, I ended up with one of their set lunch. Set lunch was served in batches, started with mushroom soup and toasted bread. Armed with huge appetite, I finished every bit on the first round. Then, my entree was served. A huge platter of pasta atop with grilled chicken. The pasta was good.  Generously blended with vegetables and olives, but I could not empty the plate in order to save room for dessert. It was a cuppa of ice cream, perfect to sooth my sweet tooth.
More memorabilia at upstairs
Both food and price were good, plus the staff were friendly but plenty of room to improve in term of communication and the little man's facilities. Sad but true, this international cafe only possesses two decent baby chairs. My 7 month-old son was the third in the row so we were presented with a shabby toddler chair (delivered only after the third request) that we did not trust him to sit on.
Something to bring home?
