A quiet street that lies not too far from South Exit of JR Tokyo Station is Marunouchi-naka-Dori. We did not expect to experience the air of sophistication, somehow our destination to Imperial Palace brought us to pass through the high class area of Marunouchi which are lined up with brand shops such as Hermes, Brook Brothers, Tiffany & Co, Kate Spade, Old England and Royal Copenhagen.
Marunouchi Building - a multipurpose building comprises business, restaurant, shopping and interactive zone
It was as if we were in Amsterdam when I saw tulips along the walkway on both sides of the street that are occupied by banking buildings, offices, restaurants, boutiques of individually styled. On the second thought, it was as though the shopping street in Milan!

The best time of year to be here is Christmas and New Year season. Thousands of light bulbs strung on the trees would illuminates the street and shops are decorated with elegant Christmas ornaments would color the ambiance from mid November to mid February.
