Penang Beaches & Holiday Resorts | Batu Ferringhi PDF Print E-mail

'Penang is a resort island', this was once claimed by our foreign friend. Based on the fact that Penang is an island paradise, it definitely offers attractive beaches for holidaymakers! And these beaches that they are referring to is Batu Feringghi beach.
Resort facilities
No doubt Batu Ferringhi is the not the most beautiful beach in Malaysia, the stretch of about 2 km of sandy beaches and shady palm trees provide ample opportunity to relax, unwind and spend your vacation. Most of the international standard hotels or resorts are located here to serve you Malaysian warmest hospitality.
Pony riding anyone?
Staying over for a weekend at Holiday Inn Resort, we got up after dawn past and took a walk by the beach. Folks were seen jogging bare-footed along the clean sandy beach to breath the fresh air in tranquil moments.
Finally, I get my pony ride on the beach!
While sun was moving up, the beach lovers were gearing up to indulge in their aquatic thrills. Banana boating, jet-skiing and water-scouter riding in the sun are among the choices here. For folks who love extreme water adventure, try para sailing whereby one with parachute is anchored to a speed boat to explore the view of the beach from the sky!

What happen to my sand castles?
On the ground, horses and beach scouters are available for rent. Folks may pay a small fee to enjoy a short ride by the beach.

While some kids were preoccupied building their ideal sand castles, some other friends were having fun with the water. Children were playing and laughing, teasing and and chasing after the waves. Watching them was simply inspiring!
Watching horizon
Getting enough of the physical 'workout'? Proceed to rejuvenate and pamper with yourself with an outdoor massage therapy. Professional massage service is offered by most beach resorts.
Parasailing at Batu Ferringghi
That day was a bit gloomy. There was no sunset but I smiled thinking of my collection of beautiful pictures captured!
